These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Nefdak Hub platform at https://hub.nefdak.com (the “Platform”), operated for the Nefdak project (“Nefdak”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Nefdak Hub is an online educational marketplace that connects independent instructors with students for one-to-one live online tutoring sessions. Sessions are delivered online (for example, via Google Meet). Nefdak provides the marketplace and scheduling technology; instructors are responsible for the teaching they provide.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Instructor accounts are subject to review and approval before they can offer courses.
3. Bookings and sessions
Students purchase a course and then book the included one-to-one sessions through the Platform’s booking system. Booked sessions are added to the instructor’s and student’s calendars, and an online meeting link is generated for each session. You agree to attend booked sessions at the scheduled time and to behave respectfully during sessions.
4. Payments and revenue share
Course prices are shown at checkout and processed by our payment provider. Instructors receive an agreed share of the course revenue, with the remainder retained by Nefdak as a platform commission. Payouts are made in accordance with the Platform’s payout process.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Reasonable cancellation and rescheduling of sessions is supported through the Platform. Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the purchase and applicable law; contact [email protected] for refund requests.
6. Instructor obligations
Instructors warrant that they have the right and ability to provide the courses they list, that their content does not infringe others’ rights, and that they will provide the sessions students have booked.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by attempting to bypass payment, harass other users, upload unlawful or infringing content, or interfere with the Platform’s operation or security.
8. Intellectual property
Course materials remain the property of the instructor or their licensors. The Platform, its branding, and its software remain the property of Nefdak. You may not copy or redistribute Platform content without permission.
9. Third-party services
The Platform integrates third-party services such as payment gateways and Google Calendar / Google Meet. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms. Our use of Google services is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Nefdak is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time by contacting [email protected].
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
